We are the UK branch of
Shotokan Karate Alliance International whose Chief Instructor is
SKA England ladies kata team took 3rd place in the European Team Championships hosted by FEIKAR in Tirano, Italy, 14th June 2008.
Visit to Japan
Great News, the trip to Japan has been confirmed from 27th March to 10th April 2010. Sensei Akita is working on the details of the trip and has a preliminary itinerary.
Message from Akita Sensei
Hello everyone!
We had a special training day "KANGEIKO" on Sunday the 31 January, hosted by Sensei Corbett.
We had good support from the members and it was a very successful course.
I was also very happy to see all of you who came to this event and I would like to say "Thank you" to you all.
Last year's aim was "back to the basics" and I trust you all worked hard.
This year we will built on top...,
so the aim and focus is "HEIAN KATAs and TEKKI SHODAN"
I am looking forward to seeing how you build your "KARATE" and change your shape this year...!
I look forward to seeing you again soon.
